Hi I'm Brexton

I grew up in Big Piney and I love to be in the mountains and with my family. Im a Mormon.

About Me

Since the fifth grade, I have lived in a small town in Wyoming, my graduating class had 49 kids. I love to be outside doing things like backpacking, fly fishing, and snowmachining. Last fall, I had the chance to go to India for a humanitarian trip. I felt like I had found my calling, I love to travel and immerse myself in other people's cultures and serve them. In October I am leaving to serve an LDS Mission in Colombia Medellin. I am so excited to learn spanish and serve the people of Colombia. When I return in 2 years I plan to go to college at BYU Provo and earn a Business Degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I was really fortunate to be born into a family that taught me about the Gospel and went to church each Sunday. As I've grown up I've developed a testimony of my own and I know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. One part of the church that strengthens my testimony the most is the Book of Mormon. When I really take the time to study it carefully and combine that with sincere prayer the Holy Ghost always confirms to me that it is true. This goes on to strengthen my faith in Joseph Smith and the fact that he definitely saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I also know that our Prophet today is a messenger of God and that Jesus Christ lived. I know he loves us and through his Atonement we can live with him again one day.

How I live my faith

I look forward to attending church each Sunday. In my small town the congregation is very close knit and loving. Recently I was called to teach the 9 and 10 year old kids each week. It's the best! I look forward to every lesson and I think I usually have more fun than they do.
