Hi I'm Cheryl

Hi. I grew up in California. I'm a mother and grandmother and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I became a Mormon at 16 after attending various Protestant churches. I spent my life being a mother and am now a grandmother and even a great-grandmother. I enjoy sewing, quilting, reading and walking in lovely areas of this beautiful world. I think it is important for all children to have the opportunity to go to school so I was active in school policy making. I've served a mission in West Africa, taught English in China and will soon return to South Africa as a missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon because I believe there is the need for a living prophet today who helps us learn the things Our Savior wants us to know and do today. I have felt the Spirit confirm that the Book of Mormon is the word of God along with the Bible. It has also let me know that the Saviors's church was restored by the Prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I try to live as the Savior, Jesus Christ exemplified by being kind to my fellow men and serving others when I have the opportunity. I enjoy visiting and helping other women from church. I've taught children, youth and adult women at church.
