Hi I'm Tyler

I lived in Texas since I was 10 when I moved in with my father. I will be serving a mission in California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing golf and basketball. I love spending time with my family and friends. I have completed two semesters of college and I will be leaving in September to go and serve a mission. I have two older brothers and 4 younger sisters. I am a member of a blended family, but I view every member the same and love them just as deeply. My plan for a career is to earn my BS and then hopefully attend medical school. The field I want to be a part of is the radiology field, but that could always change as I do my residency.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church because it challenges everyone to build their own faith and to rely on God in their times of need. I live up to the standards set by this church because following them brings joy to my life that I think a lot of people are missing out on. The sacrifices we make as members bring blessings that are priceless. A commitment is what I have found is needed to be a devout member and I believe with all my heart that it is what God expects of us.

How I live my faith

I am about to be a full-time missionary, but I have also served as a cub scout leader and a primary worker. The primary kids have taught me so much about being humble and pure at heart and have inspired me in so many ways. I love the desire they have to participate and the heart-felt prayers they are always willing to share. The cub scouts have taught me so much about fellowship and just finding friends that you might not normally seek out. Teaching all these children has taught me how to prepare lessons and activities that are meaningful to everyone including any other leaders. I recently have had the opportunity to be a home teacher with my father as my companion. Meeting and sharing with other members of our ward has built relationships that I care about so deeply and has helped me build my own testimony of this gospel. I have also spent a lot of time with the missionaries in my own area and they have become best friends to me and have inspired me to serve the Lord whole-heartedly. My faith has taught me to be a better brother, friend, follower, leader, and neighbor.
