Hi I'm Betty

I love dancing. I am Samoan. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am Samoan and proud. I love dancing and teaching dances. I love performing and sharing my talents with people; it makes me happy. I am currently studying to get a Bachelors Degree in Dance and Sport Teaching. I enjoy participating in church and community activities. Mostly performing, service projects, and all different social and educational programs.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life and I can honestly testify that the teachings within the church of Jesus Christ has helped me understand who I am, why I'm here and where I'm going. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, has helped me plan my life with purpose. I have experienced life without following His teachings and life living His teachings. When I do strive to live His teachings, I have noticed that they have kept me safe and that His teachings has help me become a better person. I can testify that the teachings within the church, has protected me from the dangers of the world; it has been my shield and it has never failed me and it grows stronger whenever I put my trust in the Lord. I have chosen to follow His gospel because when I do, I have been blessed and so has my family. I love my family. Being apart of His church has brought me so much happiness and I testify of this with all my heart. I am a Mormon, because I choose to be. I am a Mormon because I know, and I have searched for truth and I have found it here. I am a Mormon and I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by firstly, striving to do all I can to be like Jesus Christ is. One of His greatest examples is serving others. I find great joy whenever I am helping others, whether it be by simply opening a door for someone to cleaning or planting in a community park. Recently we held a service project with those from Share Care and I got the opportunity to hold a music workshop. I truly felt the love of God as I got to know these incredible children. How do I live my faith... by learning and trying to love as my God loves me. Within the church I serve and love getting to know a beautiful group of young women from ages 12 - 18. Alongside three other women, we plan and organize various activities that will specifically help not only these young women but ourselves grow in a way that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father, to grow in a way that we can progress to become what we desire most. I try my best to be a good example to my girls. I live my faith by acting upon the teachings of the church of Jesus Christ.
