Hi I'm Lynn

I love teaching, Adults and children. I have 3 boys and with my second husband we have 26 grandchildren. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a member all my life and am grateful for that. I, like anyone being converted went through a conversion process. I have times of being close to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and have had times of going to church doing all my calling but not feeling close to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ because life was stressing me out to much. The Spirit tells me to slow down, I don't feel like I'm going fast, but as I take a step back I know I can do better. Before I married my first husband I told him to make sure this was what he wanted because I don't believe in divorce. He said he didn't either. He is a return missionary and strong in the church. We got married and stayed married for 24yrs. And we both stayed strong in the church, (although he choose to not share his spirituality at home.) But state law allows him to divorce wither I sign the divorce or not. Now I'm married to my second husband and our goal is to go on a mission together. I really wanted to go on a mission when I was young but didn't have the money, so I am grateful for our goal. I love making jewelry, scrap booking, riding horses, and swimming. Oh I draw a little also, I love to do murals. Creating; I love to create.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it helps me stay close to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints is true because the Holy Ghost has testified this to me, and it can to you if you pray with real intent, nothing wavering. Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet on the earth today. Through Joseph Smith the world received the true and living gospel, at the young age of 14 he went into the sacred grove to pray. As he prayed Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ came down and spoke to him, telling him none of the churches were true and to join none of them. I am so grateful for Joseph Smith's righteousness, willingness, and all that he went through to bring the true church of Jesus Christ back on the earth once more. If you really want to know take the time to pray and pray with real intent; Heavenly Father want to testify of it's truthfulness to you.

How I live my faith

I love teaching, I've taught youth and children as young as 1 and 1/2, I've also taught adults. I love teaching the gospel; through teaching I can feel I have an eye single to God's Glory. I teach the new member right now. As I prepare to teach, I start with a prayer, read the lesson through, then go through it again during the week and again to know what the spirit would like me to concentrate on. What helps me really feel like I'm living my faith is to give hugs before the meeting starts; we arrive 1 hr early, to soak in the spirit and visit with members. And I always have a note pad to write down what the spirit whispers to me. Oh look so and so isn't here today give her a call, or maybe so and so could go to the temple if she had a ride.
