Hi I'm Jayden Agnello

I grew up in Brigham City, Utah and I am a Mormon

About Me

My name is Jayden I love climbing mountains and snowboarding a lot. I have a very loving and supportive family and we love to go on adventures and make long lasting memories. I'm currently serving a full-time LDS mission for 2 years in McAllen, Texas speaking Spanish. I enjoy learning about new cultures and places and learning about the history of the world. I also love the Boy Scouting program and what it teaches. I simply love authentic experiences and being original and creative. It's super fun. Heavenly Father has blessed me with so many learning experiences in my life and from those experiences I've learned myself that he is indeed real. I know that the first purpose in life is to have joy and the second purpose of life is to follow the commandments of God and those two purposes together go hand in hand. I am very grateful for the knowledge of the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a young boy I grew up in an environment that was particularly difficult for a time. But once my parents were divorced my mother raised me in the church, where I was able to feel peace, serenity and a sense of a quality life. When I was 11 years old I was actually sealed to my family in the temple by the power and authority of God. I have gained a true testimony and knowledge of the Plan of Salvation as I have seen family members, friends, and myself accept Jesus Christ's Atonement through repentance. There is always a way back and it may be scary and difficult, but I know that the Holy Ghost will be with us as we have faith and endure to the end. I also have a gained a true testimony of the restoration of the gospel in these latter days. The reality of the truth of the gospel is marvelous and sometimes overwhelming. I hope that I can do the best I can to dedicate my life to God and his purpose. That's why I'm a Mormon. Oh, and the Book of Mormon is the best thing I've ever read.

How I live my faith

I spent 4 years serving and working with Boy Scouts in Yellowstone at Camp Loll teaching and sharing with the scouts the things I knew about making the right decisions in life. I also served in my priesthood quorums growing up and now I am serving a mission. I don't think I'm super perfect or anything, but I have experienced much joy in the service I've rendered and I'm grateful for those memories and opportunities I had.
