Hi I'm Terry Sheffield

I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, and neighbor. I have five children and six grandchildren.

About Me

As a wife and mother of five, I have developed interests in education, football, cheer leading, music, soccer, and history. My expertise has been in organizing the day so that we had one meal together, organizing the home to a basic level of cleanliness, and in organizing family life so each member could be successful.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has been my life. I descend from ancestors in Europe and pioneers who crossed the United States. I am a farm girl, a seminary and a Brigham Young University graduate. I married in the temple and taught my children to do the same. Some would say I am a member by tradition. I would say that each day, each month, each year I made choices to live, to be, and to encourage others to be a Mormon. I am grateful for my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The prophet Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and we have a prophet to guide us today. Jesus Christ is my Savior and loves me. I have a father in Heaven who wants me to return and live with him. I am so very blessed.

How I live my faith

Through the years I have served on many committees at school, at church and in the community. Most recently I helped children understand about scriptures and led a group of women who study history of the pioneers. Now my husband and I have accepted the call to serve as humanitarian volunteers in China. This next season of my life will be a true test of how I live my faith.
