Hi I'm Sister Weaver

I love music. I grew up in California. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent graduated senior. I will be reporting to the MTC soon to serve a full time mission. I am the only girl in my family, that is I was till my older brother was married. I am an aunt, older sister, younger sister, and a daughter of two loving parents. I have played the Flute since I was in fourth grade and played Piano from third grade till eighth grade. I was in my high school marching band. I also enjoy scrap booking or anything crafty, as well as going to the shooting range with my father. When I spend time with my brothers I love to build Lego sets or go to a theme park to ride roller coasters. The last thing that I absolutely love is reading and creative writing.

Why I am a Mormon

I love every aspect, both difficult and easy, of this church. My family started as a half nonmember, half inactive member family. My father started to go back to church shortly after my little brother and I were born. My mom didn't understand why he would go to church without her. She started to send me, a two year old, and my little brother, a six moth old, with him to church. Little did she know that the Women of our church were helping him with us. Eventually she and my older brother began to come to church with my dad and us. A little while later a young girl challenged my mom to read the Book of Mormon. Around the same time a young man asked if my older brother would like to play church basketball with the young men from the stake. Eventually this led to my brother going to the temple with this young man when the youth went t do some temple work. since my brother couldn't go in while they completed the work he went to the visitor center where he ended up filling out a card telling the missionaries where we lived, thinking that there was no way they would be able to find us. Soon after the missionaries knocked on our door and a few discussions later both my mom and brother were baptized. I have been a member for most of my life. I know without a doubt that the savior knows who we are and that he will put us in the right places at the right times. I know this church is true and that as we live the gospel daily we will be blessed. I am thankful for the trials and blessings this life has given me and will continue to give me. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

How I live my faith

I love my church. Recently my family took in a foster kid. When we did so we found out about a local group that helps foster kids who have aged out of the system. through church I have had an amazing blessing to help this organization collect items for the kids they help. I also have been given a few callings in my ward. My most recent calling being a representative for the youth and helping to organize activities and dances. Now I am preparing to serve a mission.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Sister Weaver
I know there is a God because one of my friends was in a car accident and is still alive. He hit a light pole and should have died. There were multiple nights where his parents were called to come say goodbye. If God was not real then the product of so many prayers and fasting would not be walking and talking today.
