Hi I'm Ian Marker

I grew up in Utah all my life. I love my family, music and car to death. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well I'm a recent high school graduate who has no idea what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life, but I'm looking somewhere in medicine. I'm way into like 70's/80's Alternative music. I played the clarinet for a number of years and I'm still pretty good at it. I also consider myself to be a semi- pro ping pong master. I drive an amazing automobile(1983 Saab 900). Total history nerd, I took AP European History and AP American History and loved every bit of it. And Currently preparing for a mission to Mexico City leaving in the fall.

Why I am a Mormon

I've lived in the church all my life and I know first hand all the blessings that come from it. In the Book of Mormon it says that if you read the book and get on your knees and ask God with true intent and ask if the book is true God will reveal the truth to you. Reading the Book of Mormon has changed my life. I used to have doubts even being raised in the church but after reading it in full all my doubts about the church, my life and even if God exists. I'm so thankful that I finally have a true understanding of Jesus Christ, that he died for us and that we all have the ability to return to God and live with our family forever.

How I live my faith

The that comes to my mind when I read this question is Integrity. its basically do you live the same standards at school and home. Are you this strong stalwart member of your church but act completely different outside of it. When I ask that question I want to live my life always strong, holding tight to what I believe and not letting peers or the world change and morph my aspect of my faith.
