Hi I'm Max Gross

I am the youngest of two kids to my amazing parents. I am athletic but don't mind being lazy once in a while. I am Mormon.

About Me

I am the second child in my small family of 4. Yes, not all Mormon's have huge families. I did cross country and track throughout high school. In track I did pole vault for my main event. I have been called to serve in the Angeles, Philippines mission speaking Tagalog.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. I was baptized on June 23, 2013 and it's one of the most important decisions of my life. I got baptized because I knew it was the right thing to do even though at the time I didn't know very much about the church. I was unique because I attended a year of early morning seminary (bible study class) which, looking back, seriously helped my testimony blossom so fast. You can learn so much this way even though sometimes it was hard to get up. I am Mormon because I have seen the Lord's hand in my life. I have such a strong and personal testimony of prayer, through my experiences and others. He answers them no matter how simple or mundane they may seem, he cares, just like your actual father wants to listen to you and love you, so does your heavenly father. My best friend is such an example to me of the kind of person I want to be and that is because of his faith and testimony. He's helped me so much along the way to learn and grow in the church. I'm Mormon because I know of Heavenly Father's love through his other children on Earth who show their love to me in everything I do. This is the true church today and I know this because I have prayed and read the Book of Mormon. I put in the work to learn if this was the correct path and I have never regretted my decision no matter how difficult it's been at times. I love this gospel and the opportunities that come from drawing closer to Christ through it.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving in the Philippines Angeles mission sharing the gospel to people. Although it's difficult learning a new language, there are miracles everyday to help me out. You don't have to go on a mission to share the gospel, though, sometimes it's as easy as talking to the people around you and inviting them to church.
