Hi I'm Tony Spanos

I have been a Mormon my whole life. What a blessing it has been to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.

About Me

I am 71 years old. I'm married and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. My wife and I are now retired. She was an elementary school teacher and I was a college professor. I enjoy all types of sports, camping, hunting, fishing, traveling and being out-of-doors. I like to learn about other cultures and their contributions and influences in our world today. I also enjoy being around people and communities that are diverse and that have different perspectives about the world in which we all live.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have personally seen how the gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed me and my family by following its principles and teachings.

How I live my faith

One of the ways in which I live my faith is through service to others in my church and in my community. I have worked with the youth in our church and I'm amazed at what good, honest and fun-loving kids they are. My wife and I volunteer at a welcome center for immigrants and we so enjoy helping and assisting them become integrated and acculturated into our community and nation.
