Hi I'm Samuel Johnson

I am from the beautiful state of Alaska. I am serving a full time mission in the Nevada, Reno Mission. I am a Mormon

About Me

I love to go long boarding with my friends. My home town in Alaska is perfect for it. The views we get a mile from our homes are views people pay thousands of dollars to see. I also enjoy playing League of Legends. If anyone knows what that is, my main is Taric or Nautilus. I'm a support main.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I was raised in the church. My parents were born in the church as were there parents. All that being said, I am a Mormon because I chose to be. When I was a younger boy, my Mother was diagnosed with cancer. She had a tumor the size of a fist in between her heart and her rib cage. I did not know if she was going to live or not. One night it became to hard for me to bear. So I did as I was taught, I knelt down in my room and poured my heart out to my father in heaven. I wanted to know if he was real, and if he really cared. I wanted him to save my Mother. As I prayed I felt as if I should turn around, so I did. My eyes were drawn to a poster on my was. I had a picture of Jesus, and it said "You are Never Alone." The moment I saw this, my heart swelled with happiness and I felt the peace of Christ come over me. My testimony has only grown from then.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a full time mission for the church. So I guess you can say I live and breath for the church. It is a wonderful blessing to help other people come to know there God and Redeemer.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Samuel Johnson
Our purpose here in life is to receive a physical body so that we can return to live with our Father in Heaven. Also this life is a time to prepare to return to live with God. It is a time to make choices that will influence the rest of our eternity. If we chose to follow God, to repent and to be baptized, we can return to live in Gods presence. That should be something we all strive for. Show more Show less
