Hi I'm Joseph T. Stanley

I'm a composer and writer. I'm a liberal. I enjoy making people laugh. I'm serving in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I enjoy writing, composing and performing music. I've done a lot of performing and other things for different rock bands, and was in a rock band in high school called Squatchi. I really enjoy listening to music as well, and I love all genres. I also find a lot of joy in theater. I have performed as a lead in many different shows, as well as written a show and directed one too. I graduated from Mountain View High School, and then went to Utah Valley University until I got called to serve a mission in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love this church. I have such a great feeling in my heart when I think about my gospel and the knowledge it has given me. With the knowledge of where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going, it has brought so much happiness and comfort as I go through out my life, and especially when trials come my way. Having a foundation in Christ is the only way you can go through life and find pure joy, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the one and only true church on the face of the whole earth. I love Joseph Smith, the Prophet of the Restoration of this Gospel. I love the Holy Ghost which testifies truth to me. I am so proud to be a Mormon and to be a member of this incredible religion.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission sharing my testimony of this Church and Gospel in the Ohio Cincinnati area. I love helping others discover for themselves that there is a God and that He and His Son, Jesus Christ, love them more than anyone could ever imagine. When one has that knowledge, it can change their life completely. I'm a big believer in the idea that you do not always have to use words to share the gospel, but rather we should always be preaching our love of God in everything that we do, both publicly and privately. I believe in religious freedom, and sharing with others the truth we have, and letting others share the truth they have with us.
