Hi I'm Hannah

I grew up in Utah, now I'm out to serve an 18 month mission in Columbus, Ohio! I'm a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

I'm 19 years old with my AS degree and partial BS from SLCC and USU. I have a passion for learning and I absolutely love school. Before I came out here on my mission I was studying to become a Speech Pathologist at Utah State University. When I return home in 18 months I'll have about a year left until I graduate and continue on with my Masters degree. I love spending time with my family. I'm the oldest of eight kiddos and I couldn't be happier with them by my side! My family is one of my most prized possessions, aside from this gospel and the joy it brings in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have personally felt the joy that comes from dedicating my life to the Savior and His gospel. Through daily scripture study I have received a personal witness by His Spirit that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God to restore precious truths and priesthood keys, which are necessary for us to understand the loving nature of our Heavenly Father and our ability to make it back to Him after this life. We are lead by living prophets and apostles today who receive direct revelation to guide this church through these latter days. I know that through my Savior, Jesus Christ I can become a better person every single day. The hope, faith, and strength this testimony of His Atonement brings me daily is simply too rich to give up. I know the Book of Mormon is an inspired book and truly testifies of Jesus Christ and His doctrine. I cherish it more than any other book. This church is true - I know and love it with all of my heart!

How I live my faith

I've always been active in my church and secular communities. I believe that service is the greatest way to show God how much I love Him and His children. Volunteer work is something I've always loved participating in. Throughout my life I have spent hundreds of hours organizing and taking part in various service projects for school, work, and other community organizations. My church service is most important to me when it comes to volunteering. In my ward I've served in a variety of callings including music chorister, pianist, YW class president, ward missionary, youth camp leader, visiting teacher, among others. Serving callings in our church is a great way to make friends and be a friend to other members and visitors. Right now I am not serving any of my normal callings, instead I am called to be a representative of Jesus Christ as a full-time missionary. This is how I will be living my faith for the next year and half! I love this gospel and I find so much joy and fulfillment in sharing it to everyone I come in contact with. :)
