Hi I'm Hannah

I grew up in Wyoming and Utah. I fight my battles just like everyone else. I am a chef, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am an avid music lover, from playing rock and roll to singing classical arias to playing the bagpipes. I also love to cook, and I plan on attending a culinary arts institute following my mission. I battle with depression and anxiety, and with The Lord's help, I can control it. I love my family and my friends and the peace the gospel brings. I know in my heart that the gospel is true. That Joseph Smith restored the gospel through Jesus Christ and that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are there, waiting for us to accept their help if only we will.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that the teachings are true. I know that Jesus Christ wants nothing more but to help me in my trials and that He and Heavenly Father will always be there. In the past as I had battled with depression and anxiety, I had not turned to The Lord for help. Recently I finally was able to put my personal pride aside and ask Him to help me. All for Jesus Christ to take my pain for a time. And He did. Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are capable of all things. They are capable of moving mountains, creating an earth, and also capable of easing my burdens. As I have come to know and talk with God, there is an unmistakable happiness that I have not found anywhere but in His church. As I have read and pondered the Book of Mormon, I cannot deny that it is the word of God, as well as another testament of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

In the past I have not had much involvement in church callings. But as a senior in high school I was called to be on a youth church presidency and learned much about charity for others. Charity for members and nonmembers alike. Everyone is a child of God and He loves all HIs children, as should I. I have also been called to serve a mission in Texas and will be leaving soon for that. I could not be more grateful to my Heavenly Father for allowing me this opportunity to share what I know with those who do not know it.
