Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a Canadian. I love to travel with my family and sing with my sisters. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I lived on a small farm out of town, and I loved living in the middle of nowhere where I could spend as much time as I want in nature. After high school, I went to BYU for a year before I decided to serve as a volunteer in Russia for a year and a half. So that's where I'm at now in my life. I love to travel and meet people. I play the piano and sing, and especially enjoy singing with my two sisters. I play lots of sports, but I especially love volleyball, spikeball, and softball.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life but because of the good examples of my friends, family members, and especially my parents, I have grown such a strong testimony of my own. This is why I still continue to strive to be better and follow Christ's teachings. I know that through Christ we can be forgiven of our sins and return to live with our Heavenly Father again and I believe that because I was so blessed to be raised in this gospel I have that responsibility to share this good news with as many people as I can reach.

How I live my faith

When I was in high school I was called to serve as the ward choir director, which terrified me initially but it was such a good experience. I got to know so much more people in the ward because of this calling. I live my faith by trying to be involved in the community as much as possible, whether it be service projects or community theatre. Because of this involvement, I grew to love the people I served so much. The love that I felt helped me realize how much the Saviour loves me personally.
