Hi I'm Josh

I'm a History Graduate,and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated magna cume laude in History with a minor in classics, as well as the distinguished graduate for my department. I ballroom danced since I was 14, and have been to nationals to compete three times.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a young boy, around twelve years old my boy scout troop was out on a hike. We got lost and a tornado had touched down. We huddled together, afraid of what would happen. A few of my friends and I knelt behind a tree, and we prayed to our Heavenly Father that we would be protected. Immediately after I had an overwhelming sense of peace, I was no longer afraid. We waited a for about 20 mins, when a baby blue pick up truck came down the road we were by. They found us, and told us that they had gotten everyone into shelter, and had a feeling that not everyone was there. After doing a head count they realized this was the case and set out to find us. I know that my Heavenly Father protected me and helped lead them to us. I am a Mormon because I know that prophets do speak to us today, just like they did in times of old. Joseph Smith restored the true Church so that we can once again have prophets and apostles. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Every day I try to do what is right, to help others who need my help. I strive to follow Christs example. I am the Sports chair in my ward and in my stake. I help organize large scale sports activities for the single adult wards. Its a lot of fun to get out and meet other young single adults and play a sport.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No, we love everyone. While we may disagree with things we would never decline to help anyone who is in need of assistance. Show more Show less
