Hi I'm Mikell

I am from Utah and currently serving a mission in the Nebraska Omaha Mission at the Winter Quarters Visitor Center!

About Me

I love to DANCE, LAUGH, EAT CRAZY FOODS, and be with my FAMILIA! Traveling and being outdoors has always made me happy but ultimately being a Mormon has made me feel whole and experience true joy. Wanna know a little more about me?.. Well, I grew up dancing all day everyday. Seriously, it's been my life. My routine for years has been sleep, dance, school, dance, sleep, dance, school, dance, sleep. Good thing I love it so much(: I also have 3 brothers that beat me up and teased me all through my childhood years, but I still love them (; And nothing is GREATER than being with my family. My parents are my best friends and I KNOW I would be lost if I didn't follow their examples. I am indebted to them for raising me in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my life is complete with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have come to know that this church is true and this is the only way to happiness. I love this Gospel with all my being. The strength and encouragement I receive from my Heavenly Father is incredible. It is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ I am able to overcome everything and anything. Being a Mormon is the greatest!!!!!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the little and simple things in my life that Jesus has taught me to do. But in the long run those little things have made the BIGGEST difference. I read the Book of Mormon everyday, kneel in sincere prayer to my Heavenly Father, repent of my mistakes and shortcomings, go to church every Sunday to have a fresh start and be FILLED with God's love, and simply try to be Christlike in all that I do and say.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon means you sometimes will have to stand alone, but ultimately you are standing with Christ. You are on His team and the whole time He is telling you, "you can do this! Hold on a little tighter and a little longer!" I always hear my Savior tell me those words. Being a Mormon also brings me true joy. Living in the world today is hard, you feel judged, or you are expected to look a certain way. Being a Mormon excludes ALL of those things that the world has created. I have gained a knowledge that I am a daughter of God and the only thing that matters is pleasing my Father in Heaven. Being a Mormon brings me that joy(: Show more Show less
