Hi I'm Coral Chubak

I love to smile. I love to laugh. I love being a big sister. I love to eat. I love to have fun. I love being Mormon.

About Me

I am a big sister to eight wonderful kids who I love more than anything in this world. They are the funniest, sweetest siblings and are constantly teaching me and pushing me to be my best. I love being an example to them. I enjoy playing soccer, running, reading, road trips and being with my family. I am always down for a spontaneous adventure with my friends and I love anything to do with the outdoors. I love to laugh and joke around and I love making people smile. I leave on my mission to Montevideo, Uruguay on January 17th and I could not be more excited to share what I love and know to be absolutely true with the people there. I love to meet new people and hear their stories about their lives. I am anxious and excited to learn Spanish and hope that I can be a good missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be born into the gospel of Jesus Christ and have been taught by my loving parents that happiness comes from living Christ’s teachings. I am a Mormon because I believe in the Atonement of Christ and in the plan he has set for me. I am a Mormon because of the happiness that comes from knowing where I come from and why I am here. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches that ANYONE and EVERYONE can repent for their sins and be forgiven for what they’ve done. I know that Christ is there for everyone and there is no one excluded from his love. I know that the commandments taught by living apostles and prophets are here to keep me safe and free from harm. They are here to keep us truly and eternally happy. I love that I am able to be with my family forever. I love having the knowledge that when I die I can be with those that I love FOREVER and those that I love that have died, I will be able to see them again. Death has no power over us and that makes me truly, truly happy. I am Mormon because I love my Savior and what He’s done for me. He died and suffered for me and for everyone on this Earth and that amazes me that someone so perfect would do that. I am a Mormon because I love what the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches and how it makes me a better person.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good example to my siblings and to my friends. I always stick up for what I believe in even though it may not be the popular decision. I show that I love my Saviour and the church through my words and actions and always try to be a disciple of Christ at all times, in all things and in all places. I do not smoke, drink or use drugs because my body is a precious gift from God that I need to protect and keep healthy. I do not swear or use the Lord’s name in vain because I respect Him and the life He has given me. I keep the Sabbath Day Holy because that is the one day that He has asked for to be just for Him and His church. I am honest and live my life with intergrity because I want others to be influenced for good when they meet me. I live my faith by trying to be like my Saviour as best as I can. I try to be the person that my Saviour and my family would be proud of.
