Hi I'm Kristiann

I am a writer. I am a bookworm. And I am a blogger. But most of all, I am a Mormon.

About Me

My favorites things to do are read and write. I love the English language and putting words out into the world. I also like watching shows and movies. Everything and anything can give me inspiration. I am a wife. I am just trying to support my little family while my husband works part-time and goes to school. Being the provider in the family is hard work, but I am willing to sacrifice if it means a better future for my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church. I really began to be converted when I read the Book of Mormon for the first time at age 14. As my teenage years brought trials, I tried to stay strong in the gospel. there were times when I failed, but forgiveness is real. As my adult years have brought trials, I have stayed strong in the gospel. Our Heavenly Father truly gave us a plan of happiness. If we follow the teachings of the gospel, if we come unto Jesus Christ, and if we believe, then we will be happy. Our lives will not be without tribulation, but with the gospel included in them, we can experience joy in this life.

How I live my faith

Serving in the Church is something that is hard for me, but when I commit to doing it, I receive many blessings. Right now I am serving in my ward as a ward missionary. I work with the full-time missionaries; going out on visits with them, teaching a class a church, and meeting new people in the ward. My calling is all about sharing what I know and helping people feel like they have a place and a purpose in the ward. Other ways I live my faith include reading my scriptures, praying, and attending church meetings. The basics are what keep me grounded in my faith. I receive little blessings every single day when I look for opportunities to live the teachings of the gospel.
