Hi I'm Katelin

I am a high school graduate. I am the oldest child in my family. I am a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music, writing, reading, and learning. I love to discover new songs or bands that provide inspiring, uplifting lyrics and messages. I enjoy expressing myself through my stories. I have a passion for learning about various topics. I was one of those kids who became excited about going to school. I admired my teachers as they taught me the value of loving what you do. Through their examples, I decided that I want to grow up to be a high school English teacher. I have a desire to inspire kids to go into careers that will make them happy in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church. My parents were both members when I was growing up. Our family went to church on Sunday. I attended a class for children called primary. I learned so much about the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I grew up, my testimony of the gospel also grew. I have had several experiences in my youth that have helped me to learn and to be strengthened. My parents got divorced when I was ten years old. My dad stopped going to church. This has been hard for me because I had to continue to be an example. My father started participating in activities on Sunday that were against my beliefs. I defended my religion as I told him that I did not want to engage in those same activities. They made me feel uncomfortable. I have struggled with my dad and him not always supporting me. It has improved as my dad understands that I am going to serve a mission. I have strong convictions to this gospel. It has made my life better and I am happy to be a member of this church. I am grateful for my standards as they help me to stand up

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full time missionary. I am excited to share the gospel to those who are searching for the truth.
