Hi I'm Dakota

I graduated from the University of Arizona. I am currently working in the ER as a Medical Scribe.

About Me

I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physiology. I love to play sports including basketball, baseball, and softball. I plan on going to PA school after I come back from my mission. I recently got called to serve in Baltimore, Maryland and will be reporting in November.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church with a great family. I began to lose interest in the church during high school and fell away throughout my college career. During that time I had many experiences and suffered many trials. I slowly began to realize that something was missing in my life. With the support of great family and friends I slowly began to attend church meetings and participate in other church activities. There was a huge difference in my overall happiness and I started to learn and enjoy the gospel more and more. Now, I am a faithful member of the church and I am preparing to serve a full-time mission for the next two years. The gospel has given me more than I could have asked for. I know atonement has allowed us to become clean unto Him, that we may be worthy to live with Him someday. The blessings of living the gospel and the happiness it brings me is insurmountable. And that is what Heavenly Father wants for us. He wants His children to be happy. I know each of us can be happy by living the teachings of the gospel. And by living those teachings and being obedient to His commandments we will have eternal life!

How I live my faith

I am currently an instructor and substitute teacher for multiple classes within the church, both youth and adult courses. Outside of that I do my best to set an example to everyone I associate with in life. It is hard at times but I know that our Heavenly Father guides and directs us if we are faithful and obedient.
