Hi I'm Karlie

I grew up in Utah. I love to sketch and read. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to create. I dabble in many art forms, but I mostly do calligraphy, sketch and write. I love horses and devour books whole. My favorite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien, Tamora Pierce, Rick Riordan, Dean Koontz and C.S. Lewis. I know lots of random facts.

Why I am a Mormon

I have struggled, as all do this in life, and the Gospel has been a great comfort and support for me. I could feel the Lord's hand in my life. When I felt alone, He showed me that I wasn't. Many think that growing up in the church means I have it easy. In some ways, I do. I grew up knowing things that many struggle to learn. But I still fell. I got hurt. And I had to learn to stand up again. But He was there with me, every step of the way. However, I can also say from personal experience that you don't always know right then. As they say, hindsight is 20/20. When you look back, when you think of all of the times that were good and things went right, that is when you see the Lord's hand.

How I live my faith

I teach the gospel. As a teenager, I helped organize youth activities and taught others my age. My desire to serve has led me to serve a mission in Brazil.
