Hi I'm Zach

Grew up in a small town in Nevada. Ran long distance in Cross Country and Track, and now studying Civil Engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently about to serve/ am now serving in the Italy, Rome Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints this November (2016). I have a lot of interests, I like to keep myself interested and interesting to others. Starting in High School I picked up long distance running and playing guitar. Currently, I have a love/hate relationship with long distance running; I did it all four years of high school and enjoyed it, but after a year of sedentary life at college and a summer of lifting weights I'm not sure running it's as fun as it used to be. Guitar is something that I've had a lot of interest over since I started learning it and later in High School I learned the love of photography and weight lifting. At college I learned of my interests in engineering and a passion for becoming a Civil Engineer. Now, I am working as a warehouse hand and preparing to serve a full two-year mission in Italy.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know the blessings this gospel brings to me. I struggled in my senior year of high school to understand why this church was the one my parents taught me. Why my family has remained strong despite the trials they and I have been through. Or why so many of the people I deeply respected testified from the bottom of their hearts of the blessings of this church. I have come to understand the answer to these questions and so many of the other questions that come to mind as one statement: It is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through example. I work in a warehouse with close to zero belief in God, or organized religion, and I hope that through my efforts to live a positive life and show my commitment to God my coworkers will understand the love I have for this Gospel. I'm a friend to everyone I can, and especially to those in need of friends.
