Hi I'm Shanelle

I love music and performing. Pink is my soul color and sparkles are my spirit animal. I am sassy and love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am classically trained in opera and vocal performance. Music is an essential part of my soul and who I am. I have taught junior high choir and loved it. I also have experience in the banking industry and flourished in that respect. I love pink and sparkles more than any adult I know. I am a very creative person and love to craft, write, compose and do photography in my spare time. I have recently lost 60 lbs in the past 5 months and am loving working hard to get myself healthy, in order to be the best me I can be. Adventures and activities are ways I love to spend time with my family and friends. I come from a blended family and have been greatly molded based on family experiences. I love loving other people and find pure joy in helping others be happy and have fun. I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I am serving in the Arkansas, Little Rock mission and I am learning so much about me and my relationship with God and Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have been able to learn and know for myself that this church is true. Living the standards set out for us has helped me be happy. I am not perfect, nor do I expect myself to be perfect, but I know that by using the Atonement of Jesus Christ that I can become better and learn what He would have me improve on and do everyday. Once I knew that I knew it was true, there was no denying it. This gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy. The good days are great and the bad days are bearable because I know God and Jesus Christ are there and know what I am going through and that helps me endure. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love going to church. My faith and learning how the Lord wants me to live has helped me develop into the person I am today. I work hard to keep my relationship with God strong, and when I am successful in doing so I feel happy and I know that He is proud of me. I help out in my local congregation by teaching, playing the organ, speaking in meetings, singing in meetings and I help plan and execute activities for members of the congregation. We have temples that are staffed by volunteers. I have volunteered weekly in one of our temples for 2 1/2 years now and I thoroughly enjoy the experiences and spirit I have felt there. I also live my faith by just making sure to be a friend to those around me. Making sure they know that they have someone to turn to in me, as well as in their Father in Heaven, by being an example of His love and kindness on this earth today.
