Hi I'm Bekah

I am from Utah. I love to spend time with my family, backpack, and read. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I went to school for a year at Utah State. What beautiful place! I love Logan, but unfortunately I had a really hard time. However, I got through it and learned a lot because I sincerely lived my faith. I drew strength from these actions, as well as from spending uplifting time with good people in my building and ward. One of my favorite things to do is backpack! I love really anything in nature: canoeing, boating, hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, hammocking. I love to spend time in nature because I can appreciate God's beautiful creations and feel peace. In the near future I leave on a mission to help others come unto Christ! I have been called to serve in the Kansas, Wichita mission and I am so excited to serve there for 18 months!

Why I am a Mormon

My family is LDS, so I was grown up with the teachings of Christ in our home. I did not realize until later in life how blessed I am to have grown up in such a way. I was taught the doctrines of the LDS church, and in time I made my own decisions to follow those teachings. I developed my own testimony because of my experiences and answers to my questions. I am a Mormon because I choose to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually striving to be a better person. One way I live my faith is by attending church every week, doing my best at callings, and doing visiting teaching. I have found that visiting teaching is a wonderful way to visit with other women in the ward and to build supportive relationships. Another way I live my faith is by studying the word of prophets, ancient and modern. I love to study the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and General Conference talks. Most importantly, I live my faith by trying to be Christ-like; by loving others, serving, sharing what I learn, and by being a friend.
