Hi I'm Robert Ruben

I've lived in same city in Utah my whole life. I love art and music, but want to become a doctor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a seeker of beauty, whether it be in the form of art, music, or words. I prefer to paint and play piano and organ. These are my ways of leaving a imprint on the world. Art and music express my feelings when verbal words just can't do. Though I love the arts, my professional pursuit is science, particularly in the medical field. I want to become a doctor where I can do what I love while helping people in serious need. I love to help people. I love to make people laugh and often have a pun up my sleeve for almost any occasion. I love to see joy on people's faces.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in being a Mormon so the first part of my life I was a Mormon, because...well...what else would I be? Gradually, however, I learned to beauty of the Gospel on my own. My preparations to serve an LDS mission have really given me a reason to be a Mormon. The Gospel brings me so much pure joy! No matter what, the scriptures give me peace, personal revelation, purpose, and understanding. The doctrines likewise provide me with comfort and knowledge that God, our Heavenly Father, truly has a beautiful Plan of Happiness suited perfectly to every single one of His children, which he loves infinitely. The Gospel gives me hope.

How I live my faith

I have grown up with the Gospel since I was born. The Gospel is a part of who I am. Through grade school, I attended as many church youth activities as I could. I went to all 4 years of Seminary. Probably the biggest example of how I live my faith is going on a mission! As I prepare to serve, my life revolves around the Gospel, as it should.
