Hi I'm Tanner Ballard

I'm a fan of pretty much any and every sport. I'm serving in the California Oakland/San Francisco Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and serving a mission in the California Oakland/San Francisco Mission Spanish speaking! I am the oldest of five boys and was born in Yuma, Arizona, the driest populated city in the U.S. I have since lived in four other states; Utah, Wisconsin, Illinois and Georgia. I'm a big sports fan and will watch or participate in pretty much any sport (my favorites are baseball, soccer and hockey). I play the piano and enjoy singing. I love to travel if given the opportunity. I love my family and friends and love spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I'm happy and I know this church is true. I was born and raised in the church and I am forever grateful for the knowledge that I have because of the way that my parents raised me. I love going to church each Sunday because of the comfort and relief that comes to me. I have seen the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ in my own life and I know that this is His true church. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of His life and teachings. I know that there is a certain peace and happiness that comes from living and loving His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best example I can be. Going to church each Sunday gives me the opportunity to learn and be refreshed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that I can go about my life striving to be an example of a disciple of Jesus Christ. I have the opportunity to serve a mission and will be able to live my faith with a focus on teaching and helping others to come closer to Jesus Christ.
