Hi I'm Maisie

About to serve in the Barbados Bridgetown mission. I love life and I love the Lord's people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

HI, I'm Maisie! I just finished my first semester at Brigham Young University, and I have been called to serve in the Barbados Bridgetown mission! I am so excited to serve the Lord and His people and to make families eternal. I love people and hope that as a missionary I can help those I meet come to a knowledge of the truth and change their lives for the better. After my mission, I plan to continue my education, travel the world, and find the things I'm passionate about. I grew up in Provo, Utah, and I absolutely love it here. There's just something about this place that makes my heart sing. I've loved growing up in a place where I got to explore the mountains, downtown culture, and everything in between. I love being from a place with such a rich church history and pioneer spirit. Utah will always be my mountain home and I'm grateful to know that wherever I may go in the world, it will always be waiting for me. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved to dance. Whether it's ballet or contemporary, I love the feeling that dancing gives me and the friendships I have made through it. It's something that I hope I can do forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I can't imagine not feeling God's love and direction in my life. This church and this truth have brought so much peace to me and I know that I would be lost without it.

How I live my faith

From a young age, I was taught to pray and read my scriptures everyday, something that has been so instrumental in growing my faith and helping me keep it. There have been so many times that I have found answers to the questions and quiet ponderings of my heart through fervent prayer and earnest scripture study. I believe one of the greatest ways we can live our faith is by being kind and serviceful to our brothers and sisters. We are all God's children, and one of the greatest joys I have found is in the service of my fellow men.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes, they can! This is one teaching of the Church that is very close to my heart. It brings me so much joy to know that when I fall in love and get married in the temple that I will be able to be with my husband and future children beyond this life. I couldn't imagine not being with my family, and I'm so grateful that I don't have to because of the sealing power that will bind us together. Show more Show less
