Hi I'm Barbara Carper

I grew up in Ogden Utah. I have 8 children. I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a home with a Mormon mother and a Jewish father. We celebrated Christmas and Passover. I love to sew and have started quilting. I love to cook for my family. I have 8 children, 5 of whom have served LDS missions. My greatest joy is being with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know this gospel is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know of its truthfulness. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior. I try to do those things every day that show my gratitute for His atonement. I lead a happy life because I feel the joy that living the gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I have served as the Primary president, the Relief Society president, and the Young Womens president twice. I served as a cub scout den leader for 8 years and as a seminary teacher for 4 years. I have been a ward choir director also. As a young womens leader we taught the girls how to sew and make modest clothing. We then had a fashion show for them to model their creations. I now work with the 8-12 year old girls teaching them skills and how to become closer to their Heavenly Father.
