Hi I'm McKade

I'm a mormon!! I'm from Kaysville Utah, lived there my whole life, but I am currently serving a mission in Hawaii for the church.

About Me

I love my family, they are so important to me

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the Book of Mormon, and I know of its truthfulness.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission and doing my best to follow Christ's example

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

McKade
We don't drink coffee, tea, alcohol, use tobacco or Illegal drugs because we believe that Our Heavenly Father has commanded us not to through a modern day prophet Joseph Smith as recorded in Doctrine and Covenants 89:1-21 In the book of Matthew 7:24-27 The parable in Matthew is the parable of the wise man and the foolish man for those of you that aren't familiar with those verses. Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want us to build on a rock, they want us to succeed, and they've told us whats best for us to build on the rock! We don't always listen though, sometimes we say "I'll build where I want! You don't control me, I want to live on the beach! It's pretty and I can surf all the time". This parable is just like life, we have been given commandments, not to dictate us, not to make rules and ruin our live and make things less fun, THEY ARE THERE TO HELP US! If we don't listen to the counsel we have been given when the rains and floods of life do come we won't be ready and we will be washed away. I testify of this that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ really do love us and they want to help us, thats why they've given us the commandments, they are a blessing! Show more Show less
