Hi I'm Katrina

I grew up in Bountiful, Utah. I love to surf and spend time with my family and friends. I am a Mormon.

About Me

There are 3 kids in my family and I am the oldest. I have two younger brothers and they are my best friends. We love to do everything together. I absolutely love anything that has to do with the ocean. While I grew up in Utah, my family always makes frequent trips to California or Hawaii. I also love to play the violin and piano and sing. I have been playing both since I was in elementary school and I've been singing pretty much since I could sing. Career-wise, I want to be an athletic trainer. I love working in the medical field and I plan to attend the University of Utah in the Fall of 2018.

Why I am a Mormon

I was very fortunate to be baptized and confirmed as a member of this church when I was 8 years old. I looked up to my parents for their example and I tried to live as Heavenly Father wanted me to. When I was about 12 years old, I decided that I wanted a testimony of my own. I prayed, read the scriptures, and went to church to help me know that everything I had grown up doing was what I was supposed to be doing. I can now say that I know without a doubt that this church is true. I know that I am a daughter of God and that he loves all of His children. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he restored the gospel on the earth today. I know that Christ died for us so that when we make mistakes we can repent and grow closer to Him. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon and the amazing power that it has to bless the lives of others. I know every word to be true. I have used it and seen it bless my life. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet and I know that he does lead and guide this church. I am so grateful that through the temple, I am able to live with my family forever. I know that without these things, I would not be the person I am today.

How I live my faith

I have had a couple different callings serving with the young women in my ward. While in these callings, I have helped plan many activities, participated in service projects, and help teach lessons in church. In all these things, I am able to live my faith because I am doing what the Lord has asked me to do.
