Hi I'm Annie

I'm a piano teacher. I'm always laughing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be happy:) I surround myself with things I love. I am a piano teacher, and I am a nanny to a family with 6 kids. I take pride in being an aunt, and family is everything. My siblings live around the globe, so I love to travel and visit their sweet families. I served a full time mission in Cavite Philippines, and now I am a student at BYUI. Life truly is amazing. Although there are always reasons not to be happy, patient, and positive, I try to live my life so that I am.

Why I am a Mormon

This world can be so scary, and life is just plain hard! We are all given trials and challenges throughout our lives, but because I am a Mormon I understand why. We are placed on this earth to learn and grow and to find joy:) Trials make us stronger...if we let them. This life is like walking up a "going down" escalator. If you've ever done this then you know that it is tough. If you aren't constantly working and striving to get to the top, then you are going backwards. That's like life! If we look at our trials, let them take over us, and give up, then we aren't improving, we are moving backwards. Trials shape us into better human beings. Yes, they are EXTREMELY hard, but that is why we have prayer and each other so that we can get the strength from God to overcome them! Life truly is amazing from the right perspective, and being a Mormon and knowing why I am here, and where we go after this life, let's me keep an eternal perspective on things:)

How I live my faith

As a Mormon, opportunities to serve are endless. When we realize how much our loving Father in Heaven and our Savior, Jesus Christ, have given us, then we want to try and say thank you and serve those around us. I attend my church meetings every Sunday in a singles ward, and I love having the opportunity to serve people my same age. I am the ward pianist, and we can learn so much from music. I am obsessed with family history work, and to learn more about my roots. I love to take my family names to the temple at least once a week. I keep the standards that we've been given because I know they come from God. I was called to serve the Lord In the Philippines, and I learned SO much from those amazing people. Although life is not always what I thought it would be, I have faith that this is God's plan for me:)
