Hi I'm Leihana

An Australian prepping to serve in the ARGENTINA BUENOS AIRES WEST MISSION :) I come from the most loveable whanau in the world!

About Me

I’m Leihana, I mean “Sister Mason” :) and am preparing to serve the people in the glorious Argentina Buenos Aires West Mission. Through all my youth years I’ve been raised in a small Aussie town where hardly any members come to church however the stakes of zion are always strengthened within the family unit! My favourite days are ones spent with family. I long to explore the beauties of God’s creations from all 4 quarters of the earth. Though I’m not quite sure yet where I would like my future to take me if nothing else I aspire to be the world’s best baby-mama and ensure that my future family is obliged to say “we do not doubt our mother knows it” :) :) Were it not for the Christ-like love and gospel teachings in my home I would be subject to a life of temporary happiness, never experiencing the fulness of joy that I receive from the knowledge that CHRIST LIVES! He is the author of my happiness and my greatest friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to faithfully live as a mormon as it helps me build character day in and day out. Overcoming the natural man/woman is ultimately our purpose on this earth so that we will be worthy to return to live in God’s presence…I am DEFINITELY not perfect but living the gospel gives me hope for new beginnings, forgiveness, and a life time of opportunities to draw nearer to Christ and become as He is. I am a mormon because through acting on the seed of faith I have experienced God’s love and I know that all that he reveals to us through our living prophet today is true. I know that He reveals His will in this day to give us direction and purpose in life. How could I possibly deny it when everything I love comes from the blessings of living this gospel.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is not a part time job…following the teachings of Christ is an eternal endeavour which I strive for each day. I live my faith by showing others that being "in and not of the world" brings the greatest, purest form of joy. I have had many callings in my young life but that’s one of the awesome privileges that comes from growing up in a small branch of the church! From directing music, teaching children as counsellor in the primary presidency to branch missionary, my greatest calling in life is to be a representative of my Saviour Jesus Christ. I am a mormon. I believe in Christ, so come what may (and LOVE it!!)
