Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in Utah, I'm an amazing person, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently finished two semesters of college and received my mission call to serve the people of Taipei, Taiwan. I leave on December 7, 2016, for the Provo Missionary Training Center. My hobbies include not thinking too hard, making people laugh, and I'm also an avid soccer fan. I'm pretty competitive when it comes to games and sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I was born Mormon. However, I'm still a Mormon because of the experiences I have. I've truly felt God's love for me, and more remarkably I've felt His belief in me. God believes in all of us, and so I try to believe in everyone too. I'm Mormon because I want to change the world, so that people can feel God's love for them and know that our Father believes in them too.

How I live my faith

I come from a pretty diverse family consisting of a lesbian who is currently becoming a transgender, a gay brother, and a bisexual sister. This is important in shaping how I live my faith because my life is based around my family. I grew up with a lot of contention and divisiveness that I didn't understand, and so how I live reflects my childhood. I live my faith by loving others. I try to genuinely care about everyone. I'm obviously not perfect, but I try to imagine how God sees us. I understand perfectly that everyone on this earth, everyone I come into contact with my family and that means a lot to me. I understand that we came to this earth together to get back to our Father in Heaven, and my life reflects that understanding. I don't hold grudges, I don't get angry (except at my parents when they nag ha-ha), and I try to help everyone I can.
