Hi I'm Heidi

I come from a blended family of seven and am the youngest. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have recently graduated from high school and will be attending college soon. I am a very dedicated student and strive to do my best and be the best me I am capable of being. I enjoy the outdoors, sports, music of just about every kind, but above all, my family. My family means the world to me and has been my strength and support in some of the lowest points in my life. I am forever grateful for them and the examples they are to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was born I was raised up in this church and was offered the opportunity to be baptized at the age of eight. Ever since then my belief, my testimony in God, His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit has grown stronger as I have endured trials and hardship. Many people ask me why God would allow this (indicating an unfortunate event)

How I live my faith

Sometimes in school it was hard for me to feel accepted or like I belonged, but I always knew I was loved whenever I went to church on Sundays and to church activities. The young women in my ward reached out to me with loving arms and accepted me for who I am. Our faith in Jesus Christ grew as we learned together in Sunday school and lived what we were taught and what we believed in outside of church. By living the principles of what I believe in and reading my scriptures daily helps me draw closer to my Savior. Because I am human and am constantly making mistakes, it is nice to know that God loved me enough to allow an atonement to be made where I can be forgiven of my mistakes. Every day I try my best to be better than the person I was before. The competition to be better is within myself and not with others.
