Hi I'm Gordon Hapairai

I have a very loving family and loving friends. I enjoy music and design. I'm a Mormon. I am happy.

About Me

I am a musician. I play the violin and can play the piano. I have an interest in design and the way things work. My hobbies include but are not limited to, drawing, playing and listening to music, writing, and learning new skills.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but in a sense I wasn't truly converted. When I was very young, there was a saying going around about being truly converted to the gospel. It was until a few years ago that I realized that I was simply going through the motions without realizing the true purpose of what I was doing. I began to ponder and search for the real reasons behind why I am a member. I was a member, but up till that moment, I had not truly been converted. My conversion came through trusting in Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Ghost. Reading and praying to know if the scriptures were the word of God, and attending my meetings with a purpose. By doing that I was able to feel the Love of God and I was able to gain a testimony of the truthfulness of this Gospel. I am truly converted. I know there is a God and that he continues to speak to people on the earth today, his prophets. I know that Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet of God who translated the Book of Mormon, which I know to be another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that the true Church of God has been restored upon the Earth and that the priesthood key shave been restored as well. I know that Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for our sins and that through repentance and his grace, we can be saved and live together in heaven again.

How I live my faith

Living the teaching that Christ taught during His ministry has helped my learn just how to live with faith and by faith. I earnestly seek to build upon the foundations of His gospel to know just how I can live a Christlike life and assist others in doing so. I am currently serving an LDS mission in Singapore and Malaysia. This opportunity has given me several opportunities to refine my faith and center my beliefs in a Christ that lives, The Holy Ghost, and in Heavenly Father who loves us all. Throughout this experience, I have learned that faith isn't just belief. The actions that I take will influence how I live a Christ centered life. It is my hope to continue growing in faith as I put my trust in the Godhead and press on.
