Hi I'm Candler

I grew up in Tucson, Arizona. I like hanging out with friends, singing, and computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to listen to music and sing, both in a choir and by myself. I graduated from high school in 2016. I have three brothers and three sisters. I like working with computers and electronics.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been raised in the church, both parents being faithful members, but they gave all of their kids the choice to be a member of the church. I followed their example and stayed in the church. There is nothing more joyful on the earth than this gospel. It provides the only way to return to our Heavenly Father and live with our families for eternity. I know that I am a child of God and that he loves me. I know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am serving in the Utah Ogden mission. For 2 years, I have the opportunity to find those who need the gospel in their lives or are looking for something new. I have very little communication with my family and friends so that I can stay focused on the work I am doing.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Jesus Christ set the perfect example for us by being baptized himself. We have been asked by Jesus and by our prophets to follow that example. By being baptized, we promise God that we will take His name upon ourselves, that we will always remember Him, and that we will keep his commandments. When we do those things, God promises us the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
