Hi I'm Daphnee Lana Decker

I have been called to serve in the Costa Rica, San Jose East mission. Spanish speaking and I report December 7th, 2016.

About Me

I am currently serving an LDS mission. Every single day I am challenged. Every single day I learn and most importantly grow closer to my Heavenly Father. My testimony grows every moment. I feel the spirit so strong and I know this church is true. I love serving. This is the best calling in the church.... in my opinion. I love learning Spanish. It'd very difficult, but anything is possible through Christ. I love this gospel. I love the joy it brings me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because being a part of this church has brought the most joy into my life. It gives me hope and constantly inspires me to be better. I'm a Mormon because I believe the words of Christ and the words of the prophets (ancient and new) to be true and relevant to me and the way I want to live my life. I'm a Mormon because the church is good and God is good and I feel his love every time I wake up, every time I step outside, every time I see a friendly face, every time I breathe, every time that I am in need. I'm a Mormon because I have faith that God is real, that Jesus Christ is our savior and that through him we can return to our loving and dearest Father in Heaven. I'm a Mormon because through my trials and hardships my Heavenly Father and my spiritual brother, Jesus Christ, have not only walked beside me but carried me through. I know this church is true. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we can and will return back to our Heavenly Father and he will welcome us with open arms. This Gospel will bring you the most happiness and will help you become your best self. A person that is what your friends need you to be, your family needs you to be and most importantly what God needs you to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through participating in my ward as a ward missionary. This call helps me reach out to those in need and prepare me for my mission. I also take part in visiting teaching.
