Hi I'm Jacob Knecht

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States. I'm the oldest grandchild of 37 on both sides of my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I'm not teaching the Gospel on my mission, I love outdoor adventures from over night backpacking trips to off roading in my Jeep. I also enjoy spending time with friends and my little brothers. I enjoy playing all kinds of sports and have played on organized sports teams or school teams throughout my youth pf soccer, baseball, basketball, and cross country running. Some of my biggest accomplishments have been running marathons. When I get back from my mission for my church, I will attend college and want to become an orthodontist.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Both of my parents also have grown up with the blessings of this Gospel. My grandparents on each side of my family are converts to the church. I am so grateful they joined this church and that we are an eternal family because of it. This is the only church that allows families to be sealed together for time and eternity. I am grateful for this knowledge that there is life beyond this earthly life. I also am grateful to know, through this Gospel, that we have a living prophet on the earth that guides and directs us today and lets us know what the Lord would have us do. I don't know where I'd be without this knowledge and all the blessing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I'm serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Ghana Cape Coast Mission.
