Hi I'm Jaxon

I love sports and the outdoors. I want to travel the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up all over the western United States, moving very often due to my parents work. I would like to be a business owner some day. I am currently going to college in Utah. I love football and would love to coach some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon and baptized as a young boy. When I became 10 years old my family became inactive and I began to attend a non denominational Christian church. I lived my life I a very different way than those of the LDS faith and told friends that I would never come back to church and that I didn't believe in the Gospel. In the summer of 2015 I went to go work across country. Through my work I made some great friends who were return missionaries and active Mormons. Over several weeks they invited me to church and I continued to tell them no. Finally I gave in and went just so they would stop asking. When I got to church my friend had shared his testimony and I felt an overwhelming peace and love that I had been missing. It resignated with me and I began to have thoughts about the church in a positive light. Over the next few months I pushed everything away and kept living my life in the way I had been before and eventually hit a rock bottom. This forced me to look for that peace again and I found it in the gospel through the support of family and friends. I became active within 6 months and then decided I wanted to bring this happiness to others and share the gospel through a mission. I know this gospel is true because of those feelings I have had and the confirmation of happiness I have felt through living the gospel. I cannot explain it. I urge all those that have questions or doubts to just pray and ask Heavenly Father for answers. Testimonies will come with time and there are still things I have questions about. I've learned to trust in the things I know to be true and not worry about the things I have doubts about. I know as I investigate further into the gospel I will find my answers.

How I live my faith

I recently became an active Mormon and looked for ways to serve. I enjoy attending church events to socialize and meet people. I love to perform service work for those that are in need. I am a home teacher and love to bring a new message or perspective to whom I am teaching so that they can continue to progress in their life through the lords teachings.
