Hi I'm Emmalynn

I love to have fun with people, especially my family.

About Me

I love to dance, sing, hike, camp, and watch movies. I was born into the church and my life has been blessed tremendously because of it every day. I am preparing to serve a full-time mission for the church, and then I will continue my college education. I cant wait to share this joyful message with those who have never heard it, and hopefully help change someone's life for the better! I love my family more than anything. The times I get to gather with all of them for holidays or special occasions are my favorite times.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and my parents are both active members who have taught me and my siblings high morals standards, both by word and example. They taught us to pray, read scriptures, go to church, and serve others. When I was eight years old, I was baptized into the church as an official member. Now I am on my own going to school and working in a different state than my parents, and I am still an active member. When I first moved out, it was a little harder to always do the right things like go to church every sunday and keep high moral standards, when nobody was watching me or making me do it. I have chosen to do these things anyway because I see the change in my quality of life when I do and don't do what I know is right. I am always happier and more sure of myself when I keep God's commandments, because He is helping me along through my trials and challenges when I am trying my best to follow Him. It is not always easy to live my faith when others dont understand

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending the three different hours of church every Sunday. I am on an activities committee in my young single adult ward, so I help plan, prepare, and set up for various activities. I love having this calling because it gives me regular opportunities to serve, which makes me feel happier, and makes my life more meaningful. Soon, I will become a full-time missionary. This means I will go to a different place for 18 months and share my faith with a companion who is assigned to me by our area's mission president. I am excited to have even more opportunities to serve and share the message of Jesus Christ's restored gospel. In my daily work, school, and activities, I live my faith by always striving to be the best person I can be and trying to set a good example for others as well.
