Hi I'm Emma

I am learning to be a trumpet player and a physicist. I grew up in America and served my mission in Hong Kong. I 'm a Mormon

About Me

I absolutely love school and love to learn, which is why I am going to college. My favorite thing to learn about is generally found in physics, which I am studying in college right now. I also have played my trumpet for nearly seven years now. The joy that comes from practicing and performing in many different settings is something that I could never give up. Not only do I love playing, but I love listening to almost any form of music! Music brings me a lot of happiness. But most importantly I have an amazing family that I just love and they are always there to support me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but I still had a moment in my life where I needed to know for myself if it was true. I had a deep desire to know that when we died we would be able to live again and be with the ones we love. After a few months of prayer and study, I was able to find my answer and my heart was filled with love for Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father, and for this restored gospel. From there I have gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon, the Atonement, Prophets, and many other areas of the gospel. I am a Mormon because I love my God and because He loves me too.

How I live my faith

I have helped in many different areas in the church, including being in the leadership to our young woman program and teaching children. Currently, I am helping those who need help learn more about doing their family history work by showing them how and teaching them the possibilities. The biggest way I live my faith, however, is by showing kindness and happiness to everyone I talk to, just like Jesus Christ did.
