Hi I'm Whitney Marie Oldroyd

I grew up in Riverton, Utah. I am a cosmetologist. I love volleyball. I love yoga. I love anything peanut butter. I AM A MORMON.

About Me

I am 19 years old and I earned my cosmetology license before I graduated from high school. I played volleyball for 9 years and still love it. I love to cook and eat food. My favorite dessert is anything and everything peanut butter. My favorite thing to do is make people look and feel pretty! I love makeup and hair so much! Cookies and donuts are my guilty pleasure. I have a weenie dog named Cooper and he is my life. I have a mom and dad and a brother and sister. I attended a year at Utah State University and loved every second of it. I am currently serving a full-time LDS mission in the Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission, I reported on September 14, 2016.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the only way I can be happy. The more I live the teachings of this gospel, the more I come to know my true Father in Heaven. He truly is a loving Father who only wants the best for all of His children. He wants me to be happy, and He has given be a perfect road map, and that is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Although life is still hard, and we all still have our trials, we have a Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ to hold our hand the whole way.

How I live my faith

How I show my faith is trusting in the Lord with all my heart. His plan is greater than mine, so when He answers a prayer or tells me I need to do something, it is my privilege to obey because in the end it is that very thing that will bring me the most joy in the end. It was a huge leap of faith to leave my home and serve a mission, but it has brought me the most happiness and has changed my life. I am becoming the person my Heavenly Father knows I can be, and wants me to be.
