Hi I'm Annie Christensen

I grew up in a small Utah town as the youngest of 6 kids. I'm a college student who loves chocolate chip cookies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Annie! I graduated high school recently and started college! I love learning and am excited to continue to grow. I am interested in studying business or something medical-related. In my world, candy and dessert would be healthy! Baking cookies, cupcakes, or other sweets is something I definitely enjoy! I love playing golf, volleyball, basketball, and going boating with my family. I know how to play the violin and really appreciate my mom for pushing me to practice. Even though I didn't at the beginning, I love playing the violin! I love to laugh and have fun! I grew up with 5 older siblings and got used to being teased. I find the most joy when I am with my family! I love being an aunt, playing with my fun nephews and nieces. Having parties or family get to gathers is something I always look forward to.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me! I know my Savior, Jesus Christ, lives and loves me. The Atonement, Christ's sacrifice for all of us, brings such peace, comfort, and joy into my life. I have learned that I don't need to fear what life brings because of Christ. He wants us to be of good cheer- to choose faith and follow Him. That has definitely been a strength in my life. I know I have found these principles within the Book of Mormon as I've studied. I know the Book of Mormon is true. It is the word of God and has the fullness of the Gospel. It is my favorite book! I know that Joseph Smith was a real prophet called by God to restore the church. I know this is true because I have prayed and studied the Book of Mormon. I know President Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet right now. I am thankful to have modern revelation to know how to come closer to my Savior. My family has been blessed immensely by living the Gospel. I am very grateful to have it in my life. Knowing my family can live together forever brings me great joy! God loves everyone! I know He does and that He knows me. This is the Gospel of Happiness!

How I live my faith

I live my faith as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints everyday! (or at least try my best!) I go to church on Sundays and participate in our meetings. I enjoy meeting with others my same age and with other women to learn from them. I love hearing others testimonies and how the gospel has helped them. I help put together group activities for others my age during the week. I pray multiple times a day, study the scriptures everyday, and look for ways to serve those around me. I grew up seeing my parents and siblings set that example for me. I know how happy it makes them and found it does the same for me!

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Annie Christensen
We grow faith by trying it out and acting! We will grow our faith as we live a commandment. We can't know it is true without living it and praying about it. The best part about growing our faith and living God's commandments is that we are blessed for it! Show more Show less
