Hi I'm Gracie Peterson

I'm from Austin, Texas. I love Jesus. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in High School. I play volleyball and throw the javelin in track. I grew up in Austin, Texas and ATX will forever remain home. I love music. My real passion is food, everything about it excites me it allows me to be creative and has a delicious reward. I love to create videos about my life using my GoPro. I LOVE Jesus.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is so very true and wonderful. People are not perfect and that is okay but this gospel is. What it teaches is pure. This is Christ's church organized under His direction just like when He was on this earth. I am a Mormon because I feel my loving Heavenly Father testify to me that this church is the one I need to be a part of. Nothing else quite feels the same.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith daily. Not just at church. I strive each day to become more like Christ, in my church callings, in my family, with my friends, and at school. When we make Christ the center of our lives our whole world opens up to seeing and loving each other in a new light.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Gracie Peterson
I think the biggest reason we are asked to study and ponder the scriptures is to grow closer to Christ. These books tell us what Christ taught and how He lived. I think it is so important to understand more about Him so that we can fully appreciate this gospel. If we miss out on the opportunities we have to understand who Jesus Christ is than we are missing the whole point. The purpose of our lives is to become more like Him. We need to KNOW Him in order to BECOME like Him. Reading and feasting on His words helps us to gain knowledge. Knowledge is power. Power to act, power to become. Show more Show less
