Hi I'm Tevita Niutupuivaha Jr

I grew up in Tonga. Gratuated from Liahona High School on 2015 and I'm a proud Mormon.

About Me

Well I like to go out with my friends and spend some time together like watching some movies or sports such as rugby but playing touch is one of my favourite hobbies. I always like to put other people needs before mine I like to help them if I need my help sometime I'm not it the mood of helping bu when I help them makes me happier and to remember that I am really important as a child of God. I'm preparing now yo serve a mission in the South Africa Cape Town Mission on November 17, 2016. I just got graduated from Liahona High School last year. I have made some changes and also some commitments to myself as preparing to serve my mission that I'll wake up early everyday as the missionaries does, praying and reading my scriptures also. Doing this commitments have a great influence in my life that I have seen some changes not only spiritually but physically also. I have seen that my faith in Jesus Christ has been stronger everyday and that I have been using my time very wisely.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been grew up in a family that were already a member of the church. So when I grew up I didn't really get or want to know more about it but when I know I'll be teaching about gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I needed to know more about our church in order for the investigators to understand what I teach so I started asking questions reading some scriptures and also I have prayed for the church and have gain such powerful testimony of our saviour Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of this church that this is the only true church. Jesus Christ is the head of this church and that he uses the prophet Joseph Smith to restore his gospel once again for the world. He showed himself with our father in Heaven to Joseph Smith and instructed him to bring back his gospel. I truly know that missionary work is a work of God. I testify that family will be together forever through sealing in the temple for all time and eternity.

How I live my faith

Playing rugby is the only activity that I am participating on in the community and being a member of the church I have been a chorister in our men's meeting and being a hometeaching. Everytime that I went with my hometeaching companion to our families that have been given to us and visit them I always felt the spirit when we have some time to teach the lessons and also to help them in everything they need help on. Doing hometeaching helps me with my faith that my knowledge of the gospel began to increase and also my faith in Jesus Christ. Listening to my dad sharing our lessons always help me to become a better person and I was so surprised when one of the family that we visit to a mother tell my dad that whenever I came to set appointment with them for our hometeaching. She's always happy and felt that the Lord's voice is just as mine when I call them from outside their house to set our appointment. I testify from these on how the spirit works really well that it is not us that do the teaching but it is the spirit of the Lord that does everything. Getting ready to serve a full time missionary is alot of preparation to do I know I have to make some sacrifices but I know that is the only way I'll build my faith in Jesus Christ is to make some sacrifices.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?
