Hi I'm Brian Howe

I grew up in Michigan, USA. I joined the church as a senior in high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I retired from the U.S. Air Force and now I'm a firefighter. When I was younger, I worked for a while as a handyman and even had a builder's license. I like to do genealogy. I played sports in high school (cross-country, baseball, track, wrestling) and ran nine full marathons and nearly 20 half marathons since 2009.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be Christ's true church here upon the Earth. We had prophets and revelation in previous times. But people didn't want to listen to God's messengers and we ended up with the Dark Ages. Well, those days are over. We once again have modern revelation and prophets upon the Earth to provide us with God's words. Jesus Christ will, very soon, return to Earth to claim his people...those that believe in Him. And I will rejoice when that day happens.

How I live my faith

I currently am the 1st Counselor in the bishopric of my ward. I've served in many callings since joining the church, including working with the young men, scouts, and various other positions. Despite the time commitment in hectic lifestyles, callings help me stay active and close to Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ.
