Hi I'm Kennedy Overly

Born and raised in Utah. Called to serve in the West Virginia, Charleston Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I loved growing up in my small, country town. I just graduated from high school and I have been called to serve a mission in West Virginia this September. I love the outdoors and going on adventures. During high school I played volleyball, softball, and dance. I also was involved in Seminary Council, Hope Squad, and was a Student Body Officer. I am passionate about playing the piano and my pictures. I mow lawns and work at a golf course during the summer and when I have a little free time, I saddle up my horse for a ride.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my entire life. My parents are great examples. I have them to thank for teaching me this gospel. I continue to live the gospel for myself because I have a strong testimony in it. I love this church and the joy it brings in my life. I have learned that my happiest moments are when I am being faithful and keeping the commandments. I am grateful for the atonement and for a loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by currently serving a mission. However, everyday when we arise, we are faced with the choice on whether or not we are going to live our faith that day. How I live my faith everyday is I do as Christ would. I read the scriptures, I pray to my Heavenly Father, I give thanks and I serve others.
