Hi I'm David D. LeBleu

been in the church all my life but inactive, When I met my wife in 1984 I knew we were to be together forever. We are now sealed.

About Me

As a kid we moved a lot, mostly from Texas to California. From the time I was 10 my dad had my brother and I do road construction and operate heavy equipment. At 19 I went into the Army. I served in Viet Nam as a helicopter mechanic and crew chief on Huey aircraft. I got out of the Army and went into the Navy. I served on the aircraft Carrier USS Nimitz during the Iran hostage problem and on the USS Forestall during the Libya problems. In the Navy I was an ordanceman on jet aircraft. My last station in the Navy was Jacksonville Fla. where I met my wife Mary. When I was discharge from the service I again worked in construction. In 1984 I met Mary and knew we were to be together forever. Now this was not just a feeling. I had been married before and it never was good. Mary was different. I knew it right away and so did she. I change my life and got back in church. She accepted the gospel along with her daughter and son a year later. in 1986 we were sealed in the temple in Atlanta Ga.. We moved to Utah and in 1999 I got a job working at Hill AFB. in Layton Utah. I retired and we moved to Georgia so she could be close to her family. In 2013 we moved back to Utah to bee around our kids and grand kids. where we now reside. The 30 years that Mary and I have been together and involved in the church have been wonderful. Our favorite thing is just being together.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I do love God and all my brothers and sisters, and I want all of them to feel the joy of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of our Heavenly Father. I do know that this church is the only one on earth that is truly his church, and is the only way back to the presents of our God.

How I live my faith

I have been in many callings in the church. Some in small Branches. We loved them all and learned so much in each one. My favorites have always been as a Stake or Ward missionary. Just having a calling where you go out and meet people and make new friends all the while helping them come home to God is amazing. One thing I have learned is Love can't be faked. If you are really sincere and love people and want to help and be friends first, it opens a lot of doors. It works in home-teaching and in missionary work or for that matter, in all callings in the church.
